I am a high-achieving ninth-grade student with extensive childcare experience and a strong commitment to community service. I currently attend Shawnee Mission East High School (SME), and I maintain a 4.86 GPA while pursuing an honours curriculum across all core subjects. I demonstrate leadership and dedication through my commitment to the Scouts BSA program in Troop 6091 as an Assistant Patrol Leader and Senior Patrol Leader, while actively working toward earning the Eagle Scout award. I have over seven years of hands-on childcare experience across diverse age groups, from infants to elementary-aged children. I have volunteered at Jacob's Well Church since 2018, including nursery care (babies to 3-year-olds), elementary programs, and VBS leadership for fourth through sixth graders. Additional experience includes small group childcare for up to six children simultaneously and trusted babysitting services for multiple families with children ranging from 18 months to 11 years old. I hold multiple safety certifications, including Adult CPR, Child CPR, First Aid, and Wilderness First Aid, and I have completed the Family Life Planning Merit Badge. I have a good working knowledge of the Spanish language. I have volunteered at Avenue of Life since 2016, regularly serving homeless populations through meal preparation, kitchen service, and assistance in food and clothing pantries. I was recognised for outstanding character and academic achievement with the Citizenship Award and Principal's Honour Roll at Indian Woods Middle School. I am involved in SME basketball, SME theatre, SME choir, Jacob’s Well youth group, and Scouts BSA. Maintaining strong academics, friendships, and community involvement demonstrates strong time management skills and the ability to balance academic excellence with extracurricular commitments and community. In addition to enjoying children, these qualities and attributes make me an ideal child care provider.
