Hi, my name is Amelia Hansen and I am a senior at Blue Valley High School. I have 3 years of babysitting experience. I have babysat for ages 3-10 years old with up to 6 kids at a time. I also worked at Genesis kids club for a year.  I love kids and would love to find more families to babysit for!

Hi Molly! I am Riley Hays and am a Freshman at Rockhurst University. I am also from the Kansas City area and went to Pleasant Hill High school! My experience as a sitter has quite a few different things. I firstly worked at a daycare over this past summer which got me experience with children ages 4-12! Below I also have attached a Reference Letter from my boss at this daycare! I also have experience with nannying, I have nannied in the past two children ages 9 and 10 during after school hours, to about the time parents got home. I am also highly experienced with day to day childcare, as I have a 10 year old sister who for the past couple of years has been entirely my responsibility from time to time.

Hi! My name is Michaela Meadows! I am 20 years old, outdoor loving, and excited for what this area brings me! I am a Branson, MO native but new to the Johnson County area! Child care has always been a huge passion of mine! From the time I could, I was babysitting in the Branson area for family friends, referred jobs, events, as well as businesses like churches! Along with more personal jobs, I also worked with Kanakuk Ministries for 2 years, and served with KLIFE for 3! During my time at Kanakuk, I was responsible for 10-12 kiddos at a time at a fast paced- over night camp for week terms as well as day camps! Hi! My name is Carolyn Meuret, and I am a senior at Blue Valley High School. I have over five years of babysitting and nannying experience caring for children of all ages. I have served as a regular nanny for a 4 and 5-year-old, working 3–5 days per week during the summer and 2 days per week during the school year, which allowed me to build strong, long-term relationships with both the children and their family. I was also trusted to stay with the children for up to five consecutive days while their parents were out of town, handling daily routines, meals, activities, and bedtime independently. In addition, I regularly babysit for multiple families with 2–6 children, ranging in age from 11 months to 12 years old,. I am comfortable managing multiple children at once while keeping them safe, engaged, and cared for. I also work at Church of the Resurrection in the nursery, where I primarily care for infants 0–5 months old, further strengthening my experience with newborns. I am CPR certified, reliable, and passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. In the fall, I plan to attend the University of Kansas to pursue a degree in nursing, with the goal of becoming a neonatal nurse, which reflects my long-term commitment to child care and health.

Hi! My name is Norah Hess, I am from Overland Park, Kansas and am currently in school at the University of Kansas majoring in nursing. My schedule is very manageable so I am hoping to be able to babysit a lot in Lawrence or anywhere around Overland Park! In my free time I enjoy working out, reading, and hanging out with friends and family. I have had a lot of babysitting experience, I nannied over the summer of 2022 and 2023 while also babysitting for occasional date nights all throughout high school. The children I babysat ranged from ages 2 - 12, with this I was changing diapers, cooking, cleaning, ensuring safety, playing, taking them to do fun activities, and putting them to bed. I’ve always enjoyed babysitting so much, each age is so much fun. I have also worked as a CNA at a nursing home and at a doctor's office where I got more experience with taking care of others.

I have babysat kids ages 1-12. I love kids and know how to play with them and keep them entertained! I have always gotten great feedback from the kids and parents I babysit for.

I have babysat for many families over the years, most of which I met through my work at Tamarak Day Camp. Parents trusted me with their children and often referred me to other families in their community! I am going to school for Special Education at The University of Kansas, and I would love to put even more experience under my belt!

Hi!! My name is Aubri Waterhouse! I go to school at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. I am a freshman in college and 18 years old. The activities I am involved in is Track & Field, FCA and two Bible studies on campus! I have experience baby sitting as a part-time helper nanny for my cousins (preschool & elementary school age!) as well as my neighbors (middle school age!). Overall I have 2+ years of experience and absolutely love hanging out with kids! I have many younger cousins so I am always hanging out with them and having a blast!! Outside of just sitting I also have experience with responsibility roles such as when I was a lifeguard for a whole summer!

I am Madison Maximuk. I am 17 years old and I am a junior at Blue Valley High School. I have baby sat multiple times, usually for family friends families I know, but I would love to get to meet some new families! I play high school and club volleyball and love to be outside. 

I am a 17-year-old senior at Shawnee Mission East. In the past, I have participated in school basketball and soccer, and this year I will be competing in track and field. Outside of school, I am involved in an organization called YMSL, where mothers and sons volunteer together to support the community. I participate alongside over 100 students from my school, as well as students from Rockhurst and Pembroke Hill. While I do not have formal babysitting experience, I have spent the past two summers working as a lifeguard at the Kansas City Country Club. In that role, I regularly supervised, interacted with, and ensured the safety of children of all ages.

My name is Kadey, and I’m 22 years old. I’m currently an Occupational Therapy student at KUMed and hope to specialize in pediatrics. I’m also a member of the Air National Guard. I have two years of experience working at Kids R’ Kids daycare, where I cared for children of all ages but primarily infants and toddlers. Although I had to step away to focus on school, I truly miss working with children and enjoy building meaningful, trusting relationships with them. In addition to daycare experience, I’ve worked with school-aged children through my church, where I led a small group. Hello! My name is Alison Scott. I am 16 and a junior at Shawnee Mission East High School. I am in Women In Leadership and I volunteer for Johnson County Parks when I am available to. I have relatively open availability with the exception of having school every week day from 7:40-2:40. I’m located in Mission, Kansas.

I’m Lily Fitzpatrick and I go to Blue Valley High School. I’m 17 years old and a senior in high school. I played club volleyball 2021-2025 and I’m not playing for my senior year. I played varsity volleyball and golf for my school in the fall season. Right now, I play recreational basketball every Sunday. In school, I’m involved in Yearbook, NHS, AVID, and I’m the treasurer of SAS club (student assist schools). I love volunteering for the elementary schools and junior golf at Country Club of Leawood. I have babysat many families over the past 3 years. I have babysat kids that are 1 years old to kids that are 11 years old and all ages in between. I have many experiences with all different types of kids like ones that are harder to control or ones that need a little more attention. I have also babysat multiple kids at a time.

Hi! My name is Hanna, and I’m a 23-year-old caregiver with several years of childcare experience. I began serving in my church’s kids ministry at age 16, where I worked with children of various ages and also started babysitting for families from the church on and off. I’m Stella Kaufman, a junior at Shawnee Mission East. I have previous experience and current experience in babysitting, as I babysit almost weekly for two families (1st- 9 y/o boy & 2nd- 3 y/o boy and 7 y/o girl). I play soccer competitively and for East. I work at Tap Ins off 95th and Metcalf, and frequently hang out with friends and family! I also have experience in babysitting children with special needs, primarily children under 7 with autism. I love babysitting and helping families as I wasn’t lucky enough to have a babysitter growing up.

Experience as a sitter: I babysat for several families with children aged 0-10 from the ages of 14 to 16. School: I am a second-year student at the University of Missouri School of Law. In 2024, I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Business Management. Activities: In my free time, I enjoy walking my dog and playing tennis or pickleball. Hello! My name is Carolyn Mosburg, I am currently on my third year of my masters program at Avila University. I am currently 25 years old, but I turn 26 in 6 days. I am currently in internship and class one night a week. I have worked with children in the past: in high school I worked at Lenexa rec center in the kid zone, and then at Sacred Heart after school care. I babysit for my cousins kids whose ages range from 10 months - 8 years old. My name is Jaclyn and I'm currently a junior studying Psychology at Kansas State University. I’ve been babysitting on and off for the past 8 years, gaining experience with children of all ages. For the past two summers, I worked as a camp counselor in the YMCA of the Rockies’ inclusion program, where I helped campers with exceptionalities such as cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, and children who use wheelchairs fully participate in activities by adapting to their individual needs. My name is Wendy Johnston. I am currently an Early Childhood teacher in the Shawnee Mission School District. I have experience teaching early childhood general and special education as well as elementary, middle, and high school special education. I have degrees in both education and psychology. I am available for evening or weekend babysitting or tutoring. I am also able to babysit larger groups of children and I LOVE watching babies! I was a foster parent for 9 years (my youngest is adopted from foster care) and I have experience caring for medically fragile and/or medically complex children and babies.
